A Creative Journey Through Myth & Lore
Wondermyth is a creative mythology and folklore project built around visual exploration.
These traditions are full of remarkable figures, strange details, powerful symbols, and stories preserved in different versions and forms.
Within Wondermyth, character profiles introduce gods, heroes, monsters, spirits, and other mythic figures. The Lore Gallery uses illustrated, concise stories to make strange, memorable, dark, funny, and meaningful mythic moments easy to browse and understand, while reflective insights connect some of those stories with ideas and patterns that can appear in our lives.
Mythic Guides explore themes and ideas from these stories and consider how they can relate to goals, choices, setbacks, relationships, and other parts of life.
Research is the foundation of the project, helping keep the visual work grounded in the traditions and sources behind it. At its heart, Wondermyth is a visual tribute to the stories, figures, and traditions people have carried across generations. The project gives these stories and figures a consistent visual style, making them easier to understand and remember.
Whether you come looking for a particular god, an obscure piece of lore, a useful idea, or simply a good story, you are welcome to explore at your own pace.
